In the Old Testament, Daniel prophesied that the Messiah would descend with the clouds of heaven. When Jesus came to the world, He did not descend with the clouds. He came physically through an ordinary woman, Mary. However, as soon as Jesus was baptized, heaven opened and the Spirit of God descended on him. The prophecy was fulfilled by the descend of the Holy Spirit from heaven and not His physical body descending from heaven.
When Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, the Apostles were told “This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven. Jesus has returned very shortly after, i.e. during Pentecost. He came back in the form of Holy Spirit descending from heaven, not physically descending from heaven.
If Jesus has returned, why did the Apostles still talk about His coming in their Epistles as well as in the Revelations? The coming of the Lord, the coming of Christ and similar expressions refer primarily to the judgment of God on all man. This judgment happens in the life time of all man. James wrote in his Epistle that the Lord’s coming is near, the Judge is standing at the door! (James 5:8-9) If this is referring to a physical coming at the end of the world, it could not be described as near, and certainly not at the door. It is at the door of every man because it will happen in their life time.
This is the last church age, the 7th church age. This is the time of the Second Coming Of The Lord Jesus Christ, there will always be a forerunner to His Great Coming, just like John The Baptist was for The Great First Coming, we have William Branham as the foreunner for The Second Coming, 1963, the 'strange' cloud over the states, William Branham clearly said that that is our Lord up there. In the Second Coming, The Lord does not set foot on earth, only in the Third Coming (Millenium), will he set foot with his Bride on a 'renovated' earth, that is when the earth has been 'renovated' and 'cleaned', that is after all sin have been destroyed, the whole world has been cleaned up. The Rapture is The Second Coming, and William Branham said, 'The Rapture is a Revelation'. It has to be revealed to a person, just like the way Christ died for us on the Cross, he did it for us even before we were borned. Thank You Dear Lord. Hallelujah. How do we explain that? In the human world of science and evidence, one will want to witness the act of Christ dying for us and cleansing our sins, but how do we do that when it was already done for us at Calvary approximately 2000 years ago? It is whether or not we accept his salvation? We dont have to witness it to believe, we just believe it because The Mighty Lord has made us believe. When He came to the Jews, in the First Coming, His own people rejected him, they were waiting for signs and wonders to take place before they would accept that the virgin birth of a boy borned in a humble manger is actually their Messiah that they were waiting for. They refused to accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah and rejected him totally. The same could be happening for alot of our Christian folk now. Nevertheless, God Bless You And All Brother/Sister. Praise The Mighty Lord Jesus Christ.
