Hear His Voice

God has a new birth for you. But listen to His still small voice. Every one of you people who profess to be Christians, get yourself quiet before Him. Don't let the washing hinder. Don't let the work hinder. Don't let nothing hinder. Don't let nobody know what you're doing. Just go before Him. Get up in the woods somewhere. Get out on the side of the road. Go into the secret closet and close the door, when the kids gets at school. There get down on your knees. You've heard all kinds of voices everywhere. But just get down and stay there until those voices are silenced and you begin to lift up. It'll change you. It'll make you different like it did this little Samuel. It'll do something to you if you'll just do it. Now, it'll make you what you should be. It'll make you the kind of Christian that you ought to be. (William Branham).

Seek The Lord Always

But when you've become a real Christian, every moment you're wondering, "Am I pleasing my Lord? If I could hear from Him!" It puts you on tension, puts you on guard. That's what makes you what you are. So after all, tension is a blessing. It's just the way you're looking at it. It's just the way you're looking at it. See? If you just look the other side, there's--there's... No matter how thin you slice anything, you still got two sides to it, you see. So you want to see both sides. So tension... I think, "Oh my, it's... What's this tension? If I could've been born without this tension." Well, if I wouldn't have had this tension, I wouldn't have been what I am. I wouldn't have been a Christian, perhaps. It was this tension that drove me to Jesus Christ. See? So, it's been a blessing thing to me. So then as Paul said, as though when he had a tension or something or another, he had consulted the Lord to--to take it away from him three times. And the Lord said, "Saul... My Paul, My grace is sufficient." He said, "Then, I'll glory in my infirmities. Then when I'm weak, I'm strong." See? As long as it's to the will of God, all right. (William Branham).

David vs Goliath

Every David setting here tonight, you're positionally in Christ. God has confirmed it. Election, calling, anointing, placing: He elected you and called you. He elected you and called you. Then He anointed you with the Holy Spirit, and now, He's placed you in the body of Christ, each one of these Davids. Where's the Goliath? "Who's the Goliath, Brother Branham?" That cancer that's eating you up (That's right.), that tumor that's hanging on you, them cataracts on your eyes, that crippled arm. Everything looks at it and says, "It can't be done." The devil says, "You might as well quit believing. You might as well settle down, because you can't never no more get well. Your doctor said so; all of the rest of them said so. You can't get well." But the Christ that made you stop your drinking, smoking, lying, stealing, that saved you from a life of drunkenness, from rowling, from sin and a devil's grave, if God can do that for you, He can save you from your TB and from your cancer. He's a Goliath; don't take his boast. Stand in the Name of the Lord Jesus and challenge him to a showdown. Amen. Hallelujah. I feel religious. (William Branham).
